More Stupid Snow

SNOWFALL WARNING IN EFFECT

Today

Snow at times heavy ending early this afternoon then cloudy with 40 percent chance of light snow. Risk of freezing rain this morning. Snowfall amount 10 to 15 cm. Wind southeast 30 km/h becoming light this afternoon. High minus 2

YAYYYYY, more snow and freezing rain toooo. Apparently though the freezing rain is in spotty areas of WESTERN Manitoba (Virden?)

Also the rain is the biiiig issue. If it changes to straight rain we are going to have some bad, bad times. Not only with the side roads turning into pools of knee deep slush, but the basement flooding, the sewers backing up and very very slick road conditions when it re-freezes this weekend. Already I have a trickle in the bsmt from snow melt. No sense screaming that the sky is falling (it is, but it's only snow so far) but certainly watching how this unfolds. Oy vey.
