Happy Holiday weekend, Canada and the States!

Beautiful fireworks on tv tonite from Macy's somewhere south of the border. Guessing New York?

I feel like things are going to change. I can't explain it any better than that, I just have this weird feeling like the next half of this year is going to bring changes. Maybe 'cuz I got emailed the weekly horoscope this week and it was cryptic and ominous lol. Here's an excerpt:

"Since last year, Pluto has been in Capricorn (for the first time in 200 years) hovering at the same place throughout 2009-10. Meanwhile, explosive Uranus is hovering at the beginning of Aries for the first time since 1928. These two planets form a 90-degree angle, which is harsh. Now Saturn hovers at zero degrees Libra (for the first time since the early 1980s) creating a T-square: i.e. 9 o'clock, 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock.

Saturn is tradition,
Uranus is revolution,
Pluto is power struggles and rebirth.

(Incidentally, these planets did this dance in different signs in the last century, during the early '30s and mid-60s.) These are times of struggle for nations, cities, families and individuals. A stalemate exists, which will eventually evolve into something new. Environmental, financial, and political reforms will emerge. The movie Invictus nicely portrays this "stuck" energy. Anyone who has given birth can also relate!

Crazy huh? Anyhoo - happy 40th anniversary to my parents today. My dad has always joked about the irony of being married on Independance Day since it was the day he lost his. Amazing to be able to say 40 yrs together, though. They each deserve a medal !
