We are sorry, your call cannot be completed as dialed. Please check the number and dial again. This is a recording, from someone using a dial up internet connection, somewhere in the nether regions of southern BC, where high speed internet has not yet reached.
Weather is nice and sunny, but internet is ohhh, freaking me out some. I am used to NOT leaving the computer, making dinner and coming back to see a page still loading. Or no television to speak of. I played bored games today (yeah, I spelled it right) albeit after I spent a couple hours outside bike riding down to the green, delicious ocean side park in a BC parka. So I will take the bored games, no tv and piss poor internet but I tell you... if I could have my cake and eat it too, it would be in a house with high speed internet, cable tv AND have a year round green treed ocean side park next too it TOO !!!!
Hilarious landing in BC, I have to report. First of all there were I think about 6 babies on the connecting flight from Edmonton to Vancouver who decided RIGHT when we were about to take off, to cry to each other from various locations in the plane, discussing in baby-wailing how terrible this situation was. All you could hear was baby cries popping up from the back, now the front, then the middle of the plane, and about a dozen women laughing at it as the babies clucked away to each other. Soooo funny!!!
When we arrived about 90 minutes later, the dude unloading baggage was yep, you guessed it, wearing shorts. Left Winnipeg airport at 6am, blowing snow on the runway, minus 800 with windchill and yet here we were, landing in heaven, where its green and plus 4 degrees. Long stupid trip, but I parked myself outside on the ferry deck watching the islands go by on my way to Victoria. I could not wipe the smile off my face. I think my face was permanently wind whipped into a shiny pink smile when I got to the other side!
Very glad to be here, despite the dial up deficiencies and soy based, organic, non animal anything that resides in my sisters vegan fridge. You may see news reports of me creeping out overnight slaying cows in the area so I can eat some sort of animal product, and find a wireless hi-fi connection while Im out there... =)
